Gulupa is an Indica dominant hybrid, a cross between two US strains, Purple Kush and Gelato #33. It is a strain developed for the most demanding potheads, with a smooth, deep flavour and very inspiring, thought-provoking effects.
Gulupa has its origins in California. It is a vigorous, strong, and very versatile plant that develops a very striking coloration that contrasts with the whitish colour of its trichomes. It produces a high THC level of up to 20%. Certainly, a strain with a unique terpene profile of flavours.
Gulupa, cannabis with exotic flavours
Purple Kush parental brings to Gulupa beautiful purple hues along with an earthy, minty flavour and increased yield and strength thanks to the Skunk heritage. The other parental, Gelato 33, contributes with sweetness and a very noticeable citric tone along with a euphoric effect.
Gulupa delivers an impressive aroma in cultivation. Towards the end of the flowering stage, it is reminiscent of a citric fruit cocktail with strawberry and passion fruit overtones. It delivers a very intense terpenes that lingers for a long time in the mouth, with earthy tones and a hashish flavour. Certainly, a cannabis genetics that will delight lovers of exotic flavours.
Gulupa, a productive and resistant cannabis strain
Gulupa acquires a medium structure in indoor cultivation. It is a plant with great growing power and shrubby structure with dense buds. Paradise Seeds recommends the "lollipopping" system （pruning of the lower branches leaving about 30cm of stem from the base）. It offers an indoor yield of about 500g per m2.
Gulupa is an ideal plant for outdoor cultivation, growing easily up to 2m in Mediterranean climates. It is a plant with a strong aroma and an abundant yield of up to 700g per plant in northern regions, thanks to its strength.
Gulupa, cannabis with lucid effect with no physical heaviness
Gulupa produces a fast onset, very cerebral and inspiring effect, which in most cases surprises with its lucidity. A very creative, energetic effect with none of the physical heaviness of today's most potent hybrids.
The powerful cannabis plants with a strong aroma are more susceptible to hermaphroditism. Careful control, pruning the lower branches and not overdoing it with fertiliser, will help to avoid this kind of problem.
